Face and Cleavage Elixir is an unusually light and elegant emulsion providing unique comfort for mature skin. The preparation absorbs quickly, leaving the skin hydrated, nourished and protected against environmental hazards. It prevents the appearance of signs of skin ageing – the synthesis, organisation and degradation of collagen, as well as the loss of moisture and damage of the natural lipid film providing skin protection.
ACTIVE SUBSTANCES
COLLAGEN – Collagen is a protein which constitutes about 30% of the total human protein weight and as much as 70% of the skin protein. Collagen and elastin create a flexible net inside the epidermis, making the skin flexible and firm and creating a support for fibroblasts. Moreover, collagen has a unique ability to bind water, thus influencing the proper hydration of the skin. Collagen boosts skin renewal processing, regenerates, moisturises and makes the skin firm.
TRYLAGEN (trilagen) – is a state-of-the art substance. The name TRYLAGEN (trilagen) refers to a special combination of active peptides and proteins whose task it is to fight ageing in a comprehensive way. One of the main causes for the appearance of wrinkles and the loss of skin firmness is a reduced synthesis of collagen and additionally its considerable disorganisation caused by the action of enzymes and wrong synthesis of this essential protein. The ingredients of TRYLAGEN have a multi-directional action and are active during the whole cycle of collagen synthesis. They increase the collagen concentration in the skin and ensure its proper organisation by protecting it against destructive enzymes – metalloproteinases, as well as by monitoring a proper structure of collagen fibres. The results of in-vitro tests have revealed that TRYLAGEN increases the synthesis of collagen I (by 128% after 15 days) responsible for skin flexibility and firmness. Moreover, the preparations containing TRYLAGEN increase the synthesis of collagen III (by 300% after 7 days). Furthermore, TRYLAGEN also impacts the increase of collagen IV synthesis (by 81% after 15 days) which is an ingredient of a basal lamina of epithelium and endothelium of the skin and forms basal laminae supporting the lamina. The protein is responsible for a tight skin-epidermis connection, which simply means a young appearance of the skin. TRYLAGEN also influences a proper organisation of collagen fibres. The organisation of collagen fibres becomes worse with age – they stick to one another and become inhomogeneous. Some of them are thickened and hard, others become thin and flabby. This condition influences the loss of skin flexibility and firmness, characteristic of the young skin. TRYLAGEN controls the size and distribution of collagen fibres, which makes them stick better and become stable. To solve all problems connected with collagen degradation, the compounds in TRYLAGEN also prevent its glycation, or the reaction of protein amino acids with sugars, which causes the formation of additional cross-linking bonds. The reaction is irreversible and destructive for protein parts and additionally becomes more intense with age. As the reaction gains intensity, the aging skin loses its flexibility and becomes hard. The action of metalloproteinases destroying collagen, elastin and other proteins of the connective tissue also intensifies with age. Thanks to its comprehensive composition TRYLAGEN impedes the action of metalloproteinases, particularly those responsible for destroying collagen type I and IV.
HYDROMANIL – is a moisturising plant component, using sugar compounds rich in galactomannan, coming from the fruits of tara (Caesalpinia spinosa) growing in the dry climate of the Andes. Hydromanil is a three-dimensional colloidal polysaccharide matrix from tara, made by a special method and containing oligosaccharides of the same plant that are obtained by the method of controlled enzymatic hydrolysis. Thanks to an innovative production technology, the moisturising substance is released gradually. The moisturising properties of this modern substance have been confirmed by in-vivo tests. Not only does Hydromanil show an immediate moisturising effect directly after a one-off application, but also provides a cumulative and long-lasting moisturising result. A regular application of preparations containing this ingredient significantly improves skin hydration.
HYALURONIC ACID – it is an unusual biopolymer having the same chemical structure both in bacteria and in humans. Its chemical structure is based on disaccharide units made of D-glucuronic acid amide and D-N-acetylglucosamine. The molecular weight of the natural hyaluronic acid is from 102 to 104 kDa. Hyaluronic acid molecules are a physiological ingredient of our tissues. The acid is an ingredient of inter-cellular matrix of dermis in humans and is responsible for maintaining proper hydration, which means skin firmness and a lack of wrinkles. Unfortunately, hyaluronic acid is gradually absorbed with age and its content in the skin decreases gradually. By reducing the content of this ingredient in subcutaneous tissue water storage inside the skin becomes limited, wrinkles appear and the skin becomes rough and dry. Hyaluronic acid is able to bind from a thousand to four thousand times more water than it weighs, and therefore is used in cosmetics as one of the most valuable moisturising agents. Hyaluronic acid is also used as a natural film protecting the corneal layer of epidermis against the penetration of chemicals and bacteria.
NUTRILAYER PHYTOLIPIDS – it is a new, multifunctional ingredient of cosmetics, having unusual properties ensuring skin hydration, nourishment and protection. It is a combination of rice wax, squale, phytosterols as well as tocopherols and tocotrienols, being a natural form of vitamin E. The ingredient is obtained carefully from rice grains and is a concentrated source of the most valuable moisturising agents and anti-oxidants of this plant. Antioxidants in the composition protect skin lipids against damage caused by oxidation and additionally reduce oxidation stress resulting from UV radiation. During both these processes active forms of oxygen are created. They damage the cellular structures, including DNA in a very effective way, thus accelerating ageing. Additionally, the ingredients have a strong anti-wrinkle action.
POMEGRANATE SEED OIL – is a rich oil containing a rare acid, closely related to CLA acids, and sometimes called “super CLA” with regard to its greater potential. The ingredient has a strong anti-inflammatory action and moreover contains some other necessary unsaturated fatty acids that have a positive influence on the condition of the skin. Additionally, pomegranate seed oil is a rich source of anti-oxidants that fight free radicals and thus retard skin ageing. The substances in the oil have a nourishing, soothing and revitalising action, which is particularly noticeable in the case of dry and mature skin. Pomegranate seed oil stimulates the renewal of skin cells, which results in accelerating epidermis regeneration and its strengthening. The oil also contains delicate phytoestrogens which rejuvenate and smooth the skin, making it radiant and firm.
RICE OIL – contains a valuable unsaturated linol acid, necessary for building skin cells. Moreover, it has a high concentration of anti-oxidants capturing free radicals and thus preventing the creation of cancer. The anti-oxidants present in the oil are for instance tocopherols, tocotrienols, squale and gamma-oryzanol. The last one also boosts the creation of new cells in the skin and prevents skin ageing. A special emulsifier designed for demanding and sensitive skin, which thanks to its structure restores proper functioning of the natural, protective lipid layer of the skin and thus ensures a significantly improved hydration of the skin.
Directions: Apply a small amount of the serum on a previously cleaned face, neck and cleavage, morning and evening. Gently rub into the skin. The serum is intended for all skin types, even sensitive and delicate.
